I got a few new oracle decks this year, one being the Oracle of the 7 Energies by Colette Baron-Reid. This deck immediately caught my attention with its beautiful artwork and unique concept. And of course the number 7 speaks to me. I love numbers and their meanings, and 7 holds a special place in my heart because it’s my husband’s birthdate.
Why Seven?
The number 7 is seen as a sacred number by many. This is because it is associated with spiritual awakening, inner wisdom, and intuition. And the Oracle of the 7 Energies definitely embodies these meanings through its powerful messages and stunning imagery.
The deck is divided into 7 energies, categorized by the colors of the 7 chakras and the wisdom of each chakra. And I love working with the chakras!
For instance, Energy 1 is symbolized by Red and the Earth. It’s about money, stability, and survival. Energy 7, on the other hand, is represented by White and Thought. It’s about connection to the divine and surrendering to a higher power.
Colette Baron-Reid is known for her intuitive readings and this deck definitely lives up to her reputation. Each card has a clear message that speaks to your soul, offering guidance and insight into your current situation or question.
I have found the Oracle of the 7 Energies to be incredibly accurate and helpful in my own personal readings and with my oracle journaling.
One thing that sets this deck apart from others is its focus on personal empowerment. Each card encourages you to take control of your own life and trust in your intuition. It’s a powerful reminder that we all have the ability to create our own realities and manifest our desires.
I’m Drawn To The Oracle of the 7 Energies
I like all my decks, but I’ve been using this one consistently for the past week. There’s something about the energy in this deck that I can’t resist. It’s not just because it’s new, because I have another deck that’s new and I’m not as drawn to pick it up.
Maybe it’s just because I need the messages in this oracle deck right now.
Maybe it’s because the deck is so pretty.
Or maybe it’s just the energy of the deck attracting me.
I don’t know. But I know that I’m drawn to it right now and it’s speaking to me.
7-Card Reading From The Oracle Of The 7 Energies For The Month Coming Up
I did a 7-card reading on my month ahead and my goals for the month.
- Card 1 represents: The past.
- Card 2 represents: The present.
- Card 3 represents: What is hidden.
- Card 4 represents: What stands in your way.
- Card 5 represents: The help coming your way.
- Card 6 represents The best action to take.
- Card 7 represents: The potential outcome.
I read it as this: In the recent past, I’ve been focused on limited possibilities. This has sprung out of desperation as the time to go back to a job I don’t want to go back to has been coming closer and closer. I’ve believed things have needed to go one of two or three ways, and I couldn’t focus on the fact that there are literally limitless ways things can play out. Today I need to put ‘we’ before ‘me’ in my life. I need to focus on love and let that guide me in my decisions as well as help me to do what needs to be done. The fact is that a lot of my energy is being drained because of the people and world around me. I’m extremely empathetic, and my life has been turned upside down in the last few months with the death of my father and my dog, so I’ve been overwhelmed by all the energetic chaos going on around me. I need to separate my energetic self from the world around me and find a way to maintain a sense of hope and gratitude. I’m coming into a period where my work is going to pay off, and I need to stay focused on what I want and stay in a positive frame of mind. I also need to stay open to receiving information from my surroundings, which is perhaps why I’m on the verge of heading back to a job I don’t want to go back to. There is information there that can help me improve my writing and figure out a direction I need to take. Soon, I will relax and let go into life and have experiences and create things that amaze me.
A 3-Card Reading From The Oracle Of The 7 Energies About Going Back To Work
As I said, I’ve had some time away from my job because of life’s circumstances, but I’m at the point that I need to go back for a little while. So, I did a little 3-card pull using the Oracle of the 7 Energies deck, and here’s what I got.
Card 1 represents the essence of the situation: I’m feeling a lot of shame around having to go back to this job. I thought I would be in a better spot right now where I didn’t need to go back, but I’m not. Shame is the lowest energy, and it feels horrible. It’s not helpful to my life at all.
Card 2 represents guidance on what to do: I need to be more present and stop focusing on what I think went wrong. In fact, maybe this job is essential to my future, and I need to stop and pay attention to what is going on around me so that I can pick up what the universe is trying to tell me. In short, I can’t go back into this job with self-pity and anger. I need to embrace the situation and find the pleasure in it.
Card 3 represents what will happen as a result of taking this action: I can stop overthinking and worrying about the outer world. I can relax, be quiet, allow, and enjoy myself and what’s going on in my life. (This is actually a goal I have set out for my emotional life in 2024.) I can find a sense of peace – and when that happens, everything will fall into place.
The Oracle of The 7 Energies Is A Good Deck
I’ve found nothing wrong with this oracle deck.ย It’s easy to handle and has beautiful illustrations and messages.
I’ve read reviews on Amazon from others who have found it to be very insightful and accurate in their readings.
You can’t know if you are going to connect to this oracle deck until you get it. But I’ve found that if it speaks to you and you want it, it’s likely going to be a good deck for you.
