If you are thinking about getting the Non-Dairy Brown Sugar Strato Frappuccino, do it. Starbucks recently dropped a new line of frappuccino drinks and I highly recommend the brown sugar one. All us non-dairy people know that we don’t get to enjoy the whipped cream at Starbucks on our drinks because they are not creative enough to go out and buy non-dairy whipped cream for some reason, but they do have non-dairy cold foam now which is game changing for these frappuccino drinks.
It’s Easy To Make The Brown Sugar Strato Frappuccino Dairy-Free
All you need to do is substitute the milk with your milk of choice. We tried both almond and coconut milk and they were both good in this drink.
Then opt out of the brown sugar cold foam and add in the non-dairy brown sugar cold foam.
It tastes like brown sugar butter cookies. Even though there is coffee in there, it’s more of a dessert coffee than a regular coffee. And I’m OK with that.
In fact, the day after we tried this was the weekend and instead of drinking one of the million coffee options we have at home, I was craving this drink and we had to go out and get it.
They put a little cinnamon on top. I really like it. I think it complements and even brings out the brown sugar taste from the cold foam.
I can say there’s a difference between having it and not having it because when we went on the Saturday morning to get the drinks, the Starbucks’ employee forgot to put the cinnamon on and, while it was still good, it didn’t get kicked up a notch like it did the previous day with the cinnamon.
I also tried the salted caramel one, by replacing the milk with coconut milk and getting the non-dairy salted caramel cold foam, and I didn’t like it as much. It had a little bit of an odd taste to me. Maybe too much salt and not enough sweet.
I’m not a matcha girl, so I won’t be trying the Strawberry Matcha Strato Frappuccino.
But I’ll be drinking the heck out of the Non-Dairy Brown Sugar Strato Frappuccino until they take it off the Starbucks’ menu. It’s going to be my go-to coffee for the summer when I’m out, for sure.
