It’s time for some new oracle card decks as part of the Card Deck Club through Hay House! I will say that they didn’t notify me of shipping, so it was a complete surprise when I got the subscription box in the mail. I feel like Hay Houseย has been lacking in communication lately as I’ve been having problems with their other membership, Heal Your Life Plus, and the communication has been really bad. In fact, they seem to have lied to me and told me I was getting something I wasn’t and that there was a price change when there wasn’t. I have no idea why that happened and it’s put a bad taste in my mouth with Hay House customer service. But that aside, I really like this season’s oracle cards enough that I will be getting the winter box too.
The Fall Oracle Card Subscription Box
As per usual, it’s only three decksย and it came well packaged. You can see the first deck when you open the box, and the other two are underneath.
In the past, I haven’t resonated with each of the decks. But this time I like all three decks.
1. Travel Size Wisdom of the Oracle Cards
The first deck up in a mini-deck or pocket-sized deck of the Wisdom of the Oracle cards. I think they actually call it pocket-sized.
The Wisdom of the Oracle deck was one of my first decks I got years ago.
Not long ago, my husband started to become interested in oracle cards and tarot cards for personal growth, and we took a course with Colette Baron-Reid. We got him the Wisdom of The Oracle Cards as part of that course. So, now I have my own deck, he has his own deck, and we have a mini deck that we’re going to throw into the car and use when we’re on the go.
I do really like these cards. I’ve been journaling with them DAILY for over 2 months as part of that course we had taken. I like the messages in them and the feeling of them.
My husband also likes them. He has some other oracle decks that are more in line with horror, because that’s what he’s into, but this deck resonates with him a little more and tends to give him better answers and direction.
It’s going to be nice to have it in the car. We can use when we are travelling or when we stay with family or any place we go, even work.
These cost $18.76 on Amazon. It looks like they came out on August 27th, 2024.
2. Angelic Activation Oracle
In the last summer oracle subscription box, we got a deck by Kyle Gray called the 22 archangels Oracle. I liked it, but I haven’t used it much because it’s not that big.
This Angelic activation Oracle has 44 cards and is much more appealing and attractive than the 22-card deck. There’s more writing on the cards and there is a little activation or affirmation that comes with each card.
Each card features an angelic being on the front, and then a message and an activation on the back. Kyle gray says that the deck is attuned to the angelic frequency which is the vibration of all the angels. He doesn’t say how that happened, but he says the Angelic frequency consists of authenticity, devotion, love, and service. And he says that every card you pick represents an energy that is already within you waiting for you to activate it.
In his guidebook he gives some activation prayers to bond with your deck and talks about storing your cards. He also talks about conducting Oracle readings and what you need to do to make it work best for you. Things like raising your vibration and clearing your cards are talked about. This is all pretty standard stuff you would have read if you’ve gotten other Oracle decks. Nothing new there.
One thing he does talk about that I’ve never heard of is that the first card of every reading carries an energy that represents strength while the final card represents a challenge that you are being encouraged to face. That’s kind of weird because there’s so many different ways to do readings. He almost says this in a matter of fact way.
But then he does talk about suggesting spreads, such as the two cards spread and a three card spread for your strength, heart, and challenge. So I’m assuming when he’s talking about the strength and challenges he’s referring to that spread and not every spread in general.
When you pull a card, there is a full message on the card itself as well as an activation message or affirmation. And you can go further and get extra information in the guidebook about the angel and extra guidance.ย So there’s lots of clarity around the card.
The cards I’ve pulled from this deck haven’t really aligned with the questions I’m asking. I’m not sure if I myself am not in tune to this deck or if I’m getting messages that I need to hear that I’m not recognising. However, I’ve only used it a few times. And I haven’t used it for any big spreads.
But I do like this deck. It’s very pretty and I like the messages in it.
This deck on Amazon is 29.99. It’s set to release on September 10th.
3. Intuitive Whispers Oracle Deck
This deck is a 44 card deck by Maude Hirst.ย I wasn’t sure who she was, but when I looked her up I realised that she was in the show Vikings. If you haven’t watched that show, I highly recommend it. It’s such a good show. She plays a character who is in love with Floki. And she’s so memorable from that show. I recognised her right away. So that was exciting for me. I already liked her in the show and seeing her face again made me smile.
Apparently she is now a wellness practitioner and she has a company called Energy Rise. It seems to be focused on meditation and the benefits it has. It looks like on Hay House she has a webinar coming up called Intuitive Whispers, so I am assuming it has to do with her card deck. But, besides her card deck, she also has a couple meditations on Hay House right now.ย I’m hoping she creates more content with Hay House.
But back to the oracle deck. Inside of her guidebook there was a suggestion that triggered me to do something I’ve never wanted to do with the Oracle deck before. Go through the cards one by one. With most Oracle decks I pull cards and do spreads, and this means that there are some cards that I’ve never come across.
She talks about how this deck is kind of like a personal development tool and that the deck is broken up into four suits that reflect the four stages of transformation. This includes listening, clearing, rebuilding, and action. And so cards deck 1 to 11 are focused on listening, 12 to 22 are focused on clearing, 23 to 33 are focused on rebuilding, and 34 to 44 are focused on action. She describes each suit and the colour associated with it. And she talks about a transformational journey going through the 44-day healing process by picking one card a day in chronological order and following the guidance and exercise on the card. I instantly resonated with this and wanted to do it.
So what I’m going to do is go through the entire deck, for 44 days, and journaling on each card everyday. I’m super excited about this. It will allow me to get to know each card in the deck and I’m hoping have some sort of effect on my personal growth and transformation. The truth is I have many decks where I can pull a random card, and I probably will use a few other decks everyday. But I’m really excited about going through this day by day for 44 days.
Today I did day one, which is ‘Slow Down’. It is focused on how the world is not in a hurry and we don’t need to be either.
Unlike the Angelic Activation deck, most of the message is found in the guidebook and not on the card itself. Although you get the general idea when you pull the card.
This deck is currently 33.99 on Amazon. It was released on September 3rd it looks like.
I Like The Fall Card Deck Subscription Box
While it’s not ideal to get a deck that you already have bought twice, it is a little travel deck and it’s going to be nice to have it when we go somewhere and don’t want to bring our own decks. So the Wisdom of The Oracle travel size deck was a nice aspect to the subscription box.
Of course I like Kyle Gray and his decks. I like the idea of Angels supporting me and sending me messages, I just haven’t received any great messages from his deck yet. But as I said I’ve only used it a few times.
And my favourite deck in the box (or the one I got most excited about) is the Intuitive Whispers Oracle. I didn’t know that Maude Hirst was in the personal development world, and I’m super excited about listening to some stuff from her and using her card deck for the next 43 days to journal and reflect – and hopefully transform.
43 days from now will be about October 17th, so I will write a review around then of my experience journaling everyday with this deck.
