A Ken Wilber quest on Mindvalley has been promised for a while, and it’s finally here! It’s called The Integral Life and it will first be released on October 4th, 2020. It’s going to be a permanent quest on Mindvalley. If you are interested in Ken Wilber and developing an integral life practice, then you are going to want to check this quest out.
Update: I’ve finished the quest. You can read my Integral Life review here.
The Integral Life Quest Offers A Framework To Work From For An Integral Life
Inside The Integral Life, Ken Wilber says that this quest is not about offering the right or best practices, but, instead, it offers a framework that helps you discover areas of your life that could benefit from a certain practice.
In the quest, Ken Wilber will cover things like:
- The integral approach: Including meaning, principles, and elements.
- The integral mind: Including levels of consciousness and cleaning up the shadows.
- The integral spirit: Including faces of God, views of God, and varieties of spiritual experience.
- The integral body: Including the gross body, subtle body, and casual body.
- The integral relationship and integral work: Including the miracle of we, we in action, and integral work and business.
Ken Wilber says that the world isn’t just waiting around for us to stumble on things, it’s our theories and ideas that tell us where to look in the first place, and we can find our best nature with the right maps. Without the right maps, you can’t get around. It’s just that most people don’t know where to start looking, because if you don’t have a good theory, then you don’t know where to look.
That’s where The Integral Life quest comes in. It’s going to help you learn what your integral life practice requires for the mind, body, spirit, relationships, lifestyle, and work.
How Ken Wilber’s Integral Life Quest Will Be Structured
This is a 5-week quest equaling 35 days total. Each day you receive a lesson and take the next step into the journey of your evolution.
Ken Wilber will give daily lessons that last about 20 minutes or less. You will also need to do some tasks that can take upwards of 35 minutes to complete.
Once a week, there will be an implementation day. This is your day to focus on what you want to focus on. For instance, you can watch lessons you need to look over again or just hang out with the tribe discussing what you have learned.
Some people refer to Ken Wilber as a ‘walking Encyclopedia of philosophy’ and that he can be hard to stay with at times because he can be wordy and hard to keep up with. The implementation days will be useful for catching up on those lessons that are hardest to grasp.
In The Integral Life quest, you will also get a workbook that’s 81-pages long to complement the quest and the daily lessons.
And just like all other Mindvalley courses, you will get access to a private community of students who are also taking The Integral Life quest and are on the same journey you are on.
What Will You Come Out With From The Integral Life Quest?
Ken Wilber says that by the end of the journey, you will be equipped with skills that will benefit your life as you go forward using them.
You will add or start practices in your life so that you can live an integral life. And practicing is what Ken Wilber says Integral life Practice is all about. You will need self-control, discipline, and stamina going forward if you want to make it happen. But, he says, there will be a lot of fun too.
