These past few weeks have been crazy for so many reasons, but especially when it comes to shopping. For instance, the other week I went to the grocery store and they had no tofu! That has never even been a possibility at my grocery store. Either people who don’t normally eat tofu are buying tofu or the people who do eat tofu are buying every last block when it appears in the store. Either way, it’s been weird to go to a store and see all of the tofu depleted. Also, I have had a few lessons on Amazon that I’ve never experienced in my entire life before!
I Have Always Been A Fan Of Lysol
I am the person who always has Lysol in the house. My parents have a Costco card and when they visit us, my mom usually brings me some Lysol from Costco. She knows I like it. In fact, she usually gives us Lysol packs as one of our gifts on Christmas because we always use it.
I have never seen a shortage of Lysol. But, then again, I have never seen a shortage of toilet paper!
Regardless, Lysol is my thing, and now it’s really hard to find it when I want it the most.
Amazon Finally Got Lysol Spray In – And Then It Was Gone In 10 Minutes
I’ve been looking for Lysol on Amazon but haven’t seen it. Then today, Lysol spray popped up.
A few weeks ago, there was something I was thinking about putting in my cart on Amazon. I can’t remember what it was. I think it was some sort of food item. Anyway, I went back the next day to buy it and it was sold out. I vowed that I would never wait to buy something I wanted again, just in case it disappeared.
That’s why when I saw that they had the Lysol available, I put it in my cart and bought it instantly. I went back about 10 minutes later, and it was sold out!
I was so proud of myself. Of course, this Lysol isn’t coming until the beginning of May according to the delivery promise, but at least I managed to get some before it was out!
Then Lysol Wipes Appeared
A few hours later, I was on Amazon again looking for something and I decided to type in Lysol wipes. They were there! I instantly put them in my cart and bought them just like with the Lysol spray.
The wipes are not in stock until April 18th and will not be delivered until May 21st. That’s insane! Still, I figured I would buy my parents some too and send it to their house.
I again put the wipes in my cart with no problem. Then I went off to check out what the experts recommended using to fight the coronavirus. I was on that site for a total of 45 seconds.
I came back to click on ‘buy’ and I got the notice that they no longer had the wipes available and the item had been moved to my ‘Saved for Later’ section.
Wow. I couldn’t believe it. Sure enough, I went back to the product page and it was currently unavailable.
I didn’t know that if you had something in your cart you wouldn’t be able to get it within 45 seconds. That’s insane!
I’m glad I got them for myself, but I wish I could have gotten one for my parents!
Lesson learned, during a pandemic, don’t hesitate to buy something you want or need on Amazon or it may be gone within a few seconds – even if it’s in your cart.
